Lovely bits of London. π¬π§ππ€β€οΈ π
Holiday lights, London Style.
The three of us walked many steps through the UK to get here. Les Mis, at the Sondheim Theater in Soho-was AMAZING! π
Sometimes you don’t get to see all the sights in a place. Sometimes you fall ill and see emergency doctors, instead of other tourists. Sometimes you learn about a nation’s health system, instead of a nation’s history. That’s what travel does for you, and to you. (All of us are fine. Thank you NHS!) Sometimes you spend days watching the clouds roll by out your bedroom window and that is exactly where you need to be, and what you need to do. Still, you learn and grow. The tea shops will be open when you’re ready to venture out. And, there are scones with clotted cream and jam, and sausage rolls with crisps to be enjoyed. And there are still a few more trains to ride, and a few more places to be.
And then the march from the barracks to Buckingham Palace!
Changing of the Kings Guards. Wow! They are amazing! We were lucky to see them them warm up just before the change. It was a great front row show! (For my nephew and my nearly niece, and my very first niece! I thought of you 3 watching them play.)
The lovely clippity clop of the King’s horses hooves trotting upon royal ground. π΄π°π¬π§
